Size: Large (more than 10cm)
Pour small parts into your palm.
A rounded scoop with a long tapered handle. The bowl collects coins, screws and washers, and the handle ends in a gentle ramp shaped to rest on your palm so parts roll off toward you.
How it works
Collect parts in the bowl, then hold the handle end over your open hand and tilt. The ramp is intended to guide parts out toward your palm.
Design features
• Rounded shallow bowl holds coins and hardware
• Tapered handle ends in a palm-shaped ramp with a small curled lip
• Smooth rounded forms, one-piece print
• Overall size 167.8 x 80.8 x 34.2 mm
Colors
Shown in slate blue. This is a single-piece print; use any filament color you like.
Print setup
Print as shown with the bowl up. Supports were enabled in the test slice. Inspect overhangs in your slicer before printing and remove supports carefully.
Suggested starting point: 0.2 mm layers, 3 perimeters, 20% infill. Adjust for your printer and material. The test slice used a 250 x 250 mm bed.
Build and use
Step 1. Print with the bowl facing up and check supports in the slicer.
Step 2. Remove the supports and smooth any marks on the bowl rim.
Step 3. Scoop parts into the bowl.
Step 4. Hold the handle end over your palm and tilt to pour.
