A reminder where your keys live.

A low arch standing on an oval catch tray. An 80 mm slot in the top of the arch holds a sticky note, an envelope or a folded note upright, in view by the door. House keys and a car key go on the tray under it.

    How it works

Stand a note or envelope in the 80 mm top slot and place your keys on the tray. Put it somewhere you see when leaving.

    Design features

    • 80 mm slot in the top of the arch holds mail or a note upright

    • Wide oval tray with a raised rim catches keys and small items

    • Rounded edges, one-piece print

    • Overall size 170.0 x 104.0 x 48.8 mm

    Colors

Shown in sage green. This is a single-piece print; use any filament color you like.

    Print setup

Print with the tray flat on the plate. Supports were enabled in the test slice. Inspect overhangs in your slicer before printing and remove supports carefully.

Suggested starting point: 0.2 mm layers, 3 perimeters, 20% infill. Adjust for your printer and material. The test slice used a 250 x 250 mm bed.

    Build and use

Step 1. Print the part with the tray base on the build plate and check supports in the slicer.

Step 2. Remove the supports from under the arch and clear the slot with a flat tool.

Step 3. Set it by the door on a flat surface.

Step 4. Stand a note or envelope in the 80 mm top slot and put keys on the tray.
