Size: Medium (5-10cm)
A compact, pocket-sized 3D-printed clicker fidget featuring a print-in-place design with zero hardware, magnets, springs, or assembly required. 🖱️
Design Concept Designed for speed and convenience, this lightweight fidget takes only about 20 minutes to print and uses roughly 7g of filament (or equivalent resin). Optimized for reliability, it provides an instant tactile click experience straight from the printer. ⚙️
Printing & Important Notes
- Materials: PLA or SLA resin are both fully compatible for this print-in-place design. 🏗️
- Print Settings: No supports required. Tested successfully on Bambu Lab printers using a fast and lightweight print profile optimized for reliability. 🖨️
- Important Warning: Allow the print to cool completely (or post-cure fully if using resin) before using it. Attempting to click the mechanism while the material is still warm may cause it to stick or deform. Works best after cooling and freeing any small fused areas. ⚠️
Post-Processing & Handling
- Printing: Slice the model using a fast, reliable profile (no supports needed, uses ~7g of material, works with both FDM/PLA and SLA resin in a single print). 🏗️
- Cooling / Curing: Remove the print from the build plate and let it cool or cure completely to room temperature. Do not test the mechanism while warm to prevent deforming the structure. ⏳
- Finishing: Gently free any small fused areas from the print-in-place mechanism. 🛠️
- Enjoy: Click away! 🖱️
